  • How much does it cost to use Tailored Financial Solutions?
    Our home loan service is free, the bank or lender will typically pay for our services rather than you the customer. Business loans may have a cost involved that will be disclosed upfront.
  • If I have bad credit can I get a Home Loan?
    Yes, even with bad credit history, there are lenders that will approve lending to clients. It is best to speak with us about your financial situation so we can advise you on if you can apply immediately or what steps you will need to take to correct credit issues in order to get a home loan in the future.
  • How do I use my Kiwisaver to buy a home?
    If you have been paying the minimum contribution amount to Kiwisaver for at least 3 years, you are eligible to apply to withdraw Kiwisaver funds to buy your first home. You may also qualify for a First Home Grant, which is up to a maximum of $5,000 per person for an existing residential property with a house, or up to a maximum of $10,000 per person for a new build that is up to 6 months old from the date the Code of Compliance Certificate is issued.   • If I have been self-employed for less than 12 months can I get a Home Loan?
    Yes, there are a lot of factors that are considered in giving a home loan including, previous employment history, type of industry, customer base, deposit, and secondary income from a spouse. In this situation, it is best to call and discuss your financial situation so that we are able to help you with an application immediately or devise a plan to help get you approval in the future.

    We work with main banks and other lenders. There are over 20 options available depending on your financial situation, and we are happy to discuss these options to find one that best suits your needs.
